Woofpanion at SUPERZOO: New Products, New Connections and a Shared Love for Pets

SUPERZOO connected pet-industry pros, retailers and early-stage brands and product developers at the Las Vegas event held Aug. 12–14. At SUPERZOO, Woofpanion had the opportunity to show our products to new retailers, introduce others to our mission of responsible pet care and connect with industry leaders.

Whether meeting with buyers, talking to fellow founders or watching dogs experience the fun of the show floor, every interaction circled back to Woofpanion’s mission: developing useful products that make daily life with dogs cleaner, easier and more fun.

A Hub for Startup Pet Businesses

Woofpanion joined SUPERZOO exhibitors in the Emerging Brands area at Booth #11873EB. The Emerging Brands space on the show floor helps early-stage pet brands that are focused on launching products to serve a genuine pet-care necessity or offer innovative solutions to an existing problem. Retailers, distributors, investors and other pet industry professionals visiting this area can discover new brands all in one place.

By exhibiting in Emerging Brands, Woofpanion had more than just a booth space. It allowed us to sit down with retailers actively searching for the next product to fill their shelves. Buyers were looking for items with purpose, thoughtful design and the ability to connect with today’s pet parents.

The best part about meeting with retailers in person was, well, meeting in person. Product images and descriptions can introduce a brand, but nothing replaces an honest conversation. Visitors to our booth were able to see our products firsthand, ask questions, provide insight into what their customers want and learn more about Woofpanion’s origins.

These conversations matter because pet store owners have boots-on-the-ground knowledge of their customers. They talk to dog parents daily, and their input can guide up-and-coming brands to continue refining products before they launch on store shelves.

Pets+ Magazine Feature

Before SUPERZOO began, Woofpanion was featured in an article for Pets+ Magazine. The article covered SUPERZOO exhibitors committed to sustainability.

Specifically, the article called out Woofpanion’s biodegradable wet wipe mittens, compostable poop bags and long-lasting dispensers. Having Woofpanion included in this article with other pet-industry companies allowed additional visitors to learn about our brand before arriving at SUPERZOO.

This press coverage was not an award. We appreciate being mentioned among other companies working to provide pet parents with more eco-friendly options.

Our Commitment to Sustainability in Pet Retail Market

Woofpanion is committed to sustainability, especially when it comes to the everyday products dog parents rely on. Our eco-friendly poop bags are made using recycled plastic. This process allows Woofpanion to help give discarded plastic materials another use instead of relying on newly manufactured plastic.

Dog parents who are looking for an alternative to even recycled waste bags can turn to Woofpanion’s plant-based compostable bags. These options allow customers to choose which product suits their lifestyle and budget.

Product innovation at Woofpanion is an ongoing process. The brand is always working on new, smarter ways to provide responsible products without sacrificing the convenience, reliability and everyday value that pet parents expect.

Woofpanion’s Spot in the New Product Showcase

Woofpanion was able to showcase products in SUPERZOO’s New Product Showcase in addition to the booth. The New Product Showcase is an area open to attendees where they can view new products hitting the market and identify trends emerging in the pet retail space.

Highlighting over 1,000 products making their debut, the NPS covers dog, cat, grooming and wellness, smart technology, aquatic, bird and small-animal care categories. It is designed to allow retail buyers to quickly discover new product launches, see potential future bestsellers and learn which products are gaining traction with the industry.

Having Woofpanion products on display in the New Product Showcase provided another avenue for our brand to connect with buyers who may not have stopped at our booth. As visitors browsed new product launches, they encountered Woofpanion alongside every other brand revealing new products.

For emerging brands looking to gain more visibility, the New Product Showcase is a highlight of SUPERZOO. It puts product launches at the forefront of the event. Rather than having attendees search the entire show floor for new products, they can visit one centralized area to discover new product launches and what could shape the future of pet retail.

Pets Were What Made It Special

SUPERZOO is a business expo, but pets are what make it special. Dog’s personalities, energy and reminders of what we love about working with pets fill the event.

Interacting with pups on and around the show floor was a highlight of Woofpanion’s SUPERZOO experience. Each tail wag, sniff and happy dog reminded us of a core truth about our business: pets are more than just customer’s furry friends. They are family, everyday companions and one of the many reasons pet parents take such good care of them.

For Woofpanion, that means making life with dogs cleaner, easier and more fun for the humans who love them, too. Whether it’s a quicker cleanup, a more dependable way to store everyday products or a practical accessory, every solution we develop helps pet parents spend less time working and more time playing with their furry best friend.

Woofpanion: Built by a Woman-Owned Business

At Woofpanion, we proudly stand with woman-owned businesses. Female entrepreneurs have so much to offer the U.S. economy. In 2022, women owned 12.7 million non-employer businesses. That number represents 42.7% of all U.S. firms with no reported employees from the U.S. Census Bureau.

Being a woman-owned brand is only one part of Woofpanion’s story. It’s about creating a business with a purpose: building a clear vision from the ground up, listening to customer feedback and designing products that work for pet parents on a daily basis.

It also symbolizes Woofpanion showing up, connecting with our industry and continuing to learn. SUPERZOO gave us plenty of chances to do just that. From talking with retailers, fellow exhibitors and industry leaders to viewing new products throughout the industry, SUPERZOO set Woofpanion up for success in the next stage of our journey.

Looking Forward to Future Events

Woofpanion’s time at SUPERZOO allowed us to meet new customers, strengthen industry relationships and put our products in front of retailers searching for pet-care solutions they can trust. It also reinforced our why: creating products designed around pet parents’ routines and their dogs’ needs.

Whether it’s our recycled plastic poop bags, compostable waste bags made from plants or accessories to make cleanup easier, Woofpanion will continue to seek out new ways to simplify responsible pet care for dogs and their humans.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth, visited us in the New Product Showcase, gave feedback or stopped to say hello. We cannot wait to continue the conversation—and are just as excited to see what the future holds.
