We have some exciting news to share. We just won not one, but two Silver MUSE Design Awards. The first one was for our Dispenser for Dog Waste Bags. Then we won an award for our Dog Waste Bags themselves. That’s a double win and we couldn’t be prouder!
This is a huge deal for our team. It means that the world took notice of what we built with months of efforts. That’s why we wanted to tell you more about it.
What is the MUSE Design Award?
The MUSE Design Award is one of the most respected design competitions you find out there in the world. It was created back in 2015 by International Awards Association (IAA). Since then, this awards ceremony has grown into a global stage to honor the best in design and innovation.
Winning a MUSE Design Award is not easy. Judges are senior experts from top international agencies and design firms. Every year, designers, brands and creators from all around the world submit their work to win the MUSE Design Awards. The competition is covering many different categories, such as product design, packaging, and architecture. It’s an open competition to anyone. Hence, not just solo freelancers, but large companies can nominate themselves for the awards.
How Are Winners Chosen at the MUSE Design Award Ceremony?
The judging process is blind. In other words, the judges never see the name of the company or designer behind the work. This keeps everything fair. Your work will speak for itself and nothing else can influence judgement decisions. In here, judges will take a look at five key factors before deciding the winners. They include:

· Execution – Was it planned and built well?
· Innovation – Does it use smart technology or new thinking?
· Quality and sustainability – Does it work well and last long?

Our products were scored on all five areas. That’s why we could win two awards.

The MUSE Awards is built on fairness. There are no acceptance fees to have your win announced. Likewise, there are no pay to win games. You earn your place or you don’t. We earned ours – twice!
